鍾馗祭

場所：鍾馗神社(若宮八幡宮境内)

町家の屋根瓦に佇み、厄除けの効があると伝えてられている「鍾馗(しょうき)さん」。特に京都には多く存在し、鍾馗さんに感謝するお祭りを開催します。

Have you noticed Shoki-san? He’s the little guardian that graces the rooftops of the traditional buildings around Kyoto, To express gratitude for his continuing protection, an annual festival is hosted in his honour.
